A Taste of Guyana!

Impact teams make a real IMPACT on the streets of Georgetown!

There are always lots of people around and they are usually very responsive to the street outreaches. We hit our regular spot by the Stabroek Market in the evenings when people are congregating at all of the bus parks in the area or just hanging around!

In the daytime, we go to various spots. We also outreach on the streets at the end of school time to catch the many teenagers walking to catch a bus. There are many High Schools located in the centre of town, with students travelling from all around Georgetown and the surrounding villages to attend these schools.

The Guyanese love to listen to music, there is always music playing out loud around the town and music ministry is especially effective in gathering a crowd. Hip Hop, R&B, Reggae and Ragga are the most popular styles of music but Guyanese really love all types of music!

This nation is desperate for a change. With so much religion and so little TRUTH it is an exciting to present them with it and see God move upon them.

  Splashmins water park

Splashmins is a fun place to spend a well earned day's rest!

There are lots of sports both on land and in the water or you can just relax and enjoy the beauty of the Guyanese country.

It takes only 45 mins to get there from Georgetown. The entrance fee isn't much. Meals are available for affordable prices too.

  Where you will stay

This hotel is only a stones throw away from where we live in a nice residential area. There is a small, newly built pool to enjoy. There are also lovely areas to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

  A touch of luxury !

While in town, we make use of the facilities of the leading hotel of Guyana. It has a lovely ambience to eat and swim. A real treat!

(Meals are around US and a swim is around US.50)
