Who are we?
The Potters House Church in Guyana, is a member of CFM (Christian Fellowship Ministries) which was founded by Pastor Wayman Mitchell, pastor of The Potters House Church, Prescott, Arizona.
Our mother church is in Walthamstow, England, which is lead by Pastor Nigel and Carol Brown. There is a thriving congregation and fellowship in the UK that launched Ronald and Samantha Peterkin to pioneer the church here. The church was birthed in October 2003 where they began to lay a good foundation. Many of the original converts are still in the church today!
The church has been through some changes and is currently pastored by Pastor Kelvin and Eleanor Roy-Palmer, also out of Walthamstow.
Our vision is to see the world changed by the power of God. In Guyana we are seeking to establish a beach-head for God which will impact the entire Caribbean and South America.

About the Church
The main thrust of our church is preaching the Word of God in a way which is relevant to this generation. This involves taking the Gospel message to the streets and also using current music styles and drama to present the Truth to young and old.
We want to tell the world that Christianity isn't dead! It's not outdated! Jesus is alive and still in the business of changing lives and setting people free from sin!
God is moving here in the church. People are coming to Christ from all backgrounds and different situations. We have a predominantly teenage congregation, a mixture of Indian and Negro Guyanese. We are excited at what God is doing here in Georgetown and look forward to extending into the rest of Guyana in the future. Please pray for God to raise up labourers here in the Georgetown congregation for the great harvest of this beautiful nation !
